
Company Announces New Licensing Agreements with CBC and FremantleMedia Enterprises, Extensions of Existing Agreements with New Video, Maple and Sony
TORONTO, Dec. 13 - Netflix, Inc. (Nasdaq: NFLX) today announced licensing agreements with a range of leading content providers that adds hundreds of new titles that Canadian Netflix members can watch instantly on their computers and TVs. The agreements add significantly to the growing selection of movies and TV episodes that can be streamed instantly from Netflix for only $7.99 a month following the launch of the company's service in Canada in late September.
Many of the new titles are available now and others will be made available over the next few weeks. Among the highlights, Netflix members in Canada will be able to instantly watch:
